Team Gold Rod Bass Club

The Gold Rod Bass Club was formed in June 1997 in LaPlace, Louisiana, initiated by Eric Parquet.  Ten men initially came together to form the club in LaPlace, which grew to over 25 members.

The newest Gold Rod Bass Club was formed in January 2003 in Jacksonvile, Florida.  Founder, Haywood Wallace, has expanded this club to over 30 members.

The objectives of the club include sharing bass catching techniques; promoting “catching and release” among bass fishermen; stimulating public awareness; supporting of bass club fishing;  along with promoting and encouraging youth fishing.
